It didn't come with paper instructions but it was pretty self-explanatory. The quality is very good, and all panels are nicely protected by a protection film. The bolts and cubes are all made of transparent material. Acrylic/Hard plastic. It doesn't affect the quality at all and makes the whole thing look even better than if it was done with metal screws and bolts.
Just a word of advice; when you use the corner pieces in the top section of all the panels, be gentle pushing in the pins and make sure it's lined up properly. If you break them you may have a problem.
Everything fits perfectly and the great part of this case is that you can easily pull the entire "dome" off the base to turn it into an accessible playset again. The 4 side panels plus the top panel are all connected but are gently placed on top of the base, without securing it. I love that it is this way otherwise it would be a pain opening and closing it each time, but it's real easy like this!
I've already purchases the display case for the Avengers Tower, looking forward to building that one too.
